IT Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Administration of IT Server and Network infrastructure.

• Management of IT vendor and external outsourcing IT contractors.

• Prepare IT technical documentation, policies, and procedures.

• Provide Level 1 end-user computing and network support to all locations including office, stores and warehouse.

• Perform regular patch management and planned Operating Systems or equivalent infrastructure software/firmware upgrades to ensure technology end of life/vulnerable products are upgraded/retired to address vulnerability/support risks.

• Setup and Maintain IT Infrastructure (Virtual Environment, Storage, Network equipment, Firewall, Video Conferencing and IP Telephony).

• Monitoring of routine operations (Server Room, Backup, Antivirus Updates, Network, etc).

• Setup and maintain Cloud architecture such as Azure, AWS and other similar cloud technologies.

• Maintain close collaboration with Regional IT team in Singapore. 

• Perform technology evaluation and technology refresh.

• Records and secure all IT Assets.

   

 Requirements & Capabilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Proven experience in end-user and network equipment support.

• Ability to manage projects and see through to completion.

• Ability to work independently and with others.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• Excellent documentation skills.

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.

• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.

• Technical Microsoft and Cisco certifications is preferred.
