Trauma Surgery - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

The Advanced Practitioners (APPs) are part of a multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers care for trauma patients from the emergency room to the operating room, surgical floors, critical care units, and outpatient settings. Extensive training and onboarding will be provided for skills including but not limited to management and resuscitation of level one trauma patients, first assist OR skills, chest tubes, central lines, and other procedures.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
• Training: Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Experience: New graduates welcome to apply

Preferred:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a surgical setting.
