We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio Visual Commissioning Technician to support the deployment and service of integrated technology solutions for commercial clients. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of AV and collaboration systems that enhance communication and operational performance. The ideal candidate is technically driven, customer-focused, and comfortable working in dynamic environments where projects and technologies vary day-to-day. Key Responsibilities Install and configure audiovisual systems including displays, conferencing platforms, audio solutions, and control technologies. Perform system setup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning for customer installations. Provide end-user instruction and technical support following system deployment. Interpret project documentation, schematics, and installation requirements. Work alongside engineering and project teams to ensure successful system implementation. Diagnose technical issues and resolve system performance concerns efficiently. Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout project execution and support activities. Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and safety requirements. Complete service documentation, work orders, and support tickets accurately. Travel to client locations as needed to support installations and service requests. Maintain organized job sites, tools, and equipment. Participate in rotating after-hours support coverage when required. Requirements Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with commercial AV installations or technical field service. Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, cabling, and general construction practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. CTS certification or equivalent industry training preferred. Technical Knowledge & Skills Familiarity with commercial AV technologies and unified communications systems. Understanding of networking fundamentals and IP-based AV environments. Experience with system troubleshooting and field diagnostics. Proficiency with Windows operating systems and standard productivity software. Ability to read technical drawings and wiring schematics.
