Pre-Wire Technician

Our client is seeking a Pre-Wire Technician based in the Greater Ontario Area (Vaughan). This role focuses on installing low-voltage infrastructure in high-rise, luxury residential, and commercial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming technician looking to build a career in the AV and low-voltage industry. The role involves working on-site to complete structured cabling, pre-wiring, and rough-ins while supporting the installation team and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You are someone who: Embodies the core values listed above Has hands-on experience or strong interest in low-voltage pre-wire work Is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in clean, organized work Works well in a team-oriented, fast-paced job site environment Is eager to learn and grow within the AV industry Requirements What you bring to the team: Experience in residential or commercial low-voltage pre-wire (AV, networking, security, or similar) Ability to read drawings, wiring diagrams, and follow installation standards Basic understanding of structured cabling and job site practices Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Professional attitude and good communication skills Ability to work efficiently on active construction sites Responsibilities: Install and route low-voltage cabling for AV, networking, and security systems Perform pre-wire and rough-in work in residential, commercial, and high-rise environments Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications Maintain clean and organized job sites Work closely with installation and project teams to meet deadlines Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards Support senior technicians as needed during project execution Communicate progress and issues with team leads
