The Assistant Drug Testing Administrator works within the Risk Management department and will report to the Drug Testing Administrator l. They will work closely with Office Managers, Superintendents, Project Managers, HR, subcontractors, and drug testing locations. The Assistant Drug Testing Administrator will support Hoffman’s Drug Testing Program to support all Risk Management department staff through performing administrative and general office duties including the following but not limited to typing, heavy filing, taking phone calls, and scanning documents.

 

Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Confirm current/valid Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test for all workers.

  • Maintain all records of D&A tests.

  • Reconcile all D&A collection and test invoices and submit to accounting for payment.

  • Sort and review all D&A tests each day.

  • Track down any missing info on results and consents.

  • Regularly provide updated job lists to D&A collection sites.

  • Maintain all Hoffman supplies at labs & collection sites.

  • Find and set up new collection sites as needed; maintain current collection site list.

  • Report and follow up on testing issues with the jobsites, i.e. invalid tests, failed tests, etc.

  • Field phone calls/emails from lab, collectors, MRO, jobsite and workers with testing issues in a professional manner.

  • Utilizing D&A testing database, cross check new subcontractors testing for CCIP (Contractor Controlled Insurance Program) projects against the CCIP website. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

Professional Experience and Education

  • At least one (1) years of experience working in an office environment required.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Associates or Bachelor degree preferred. 

 

Position Related Skills

  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams), and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.

  • Fast, accurate typing skills; Professional phone skills.

  • Must be extremely accurate with data entry.

  • Ability to work with and around confidential information.

  • Reliable team player; committed to being on time and working scheduled hours.

  • Well organized, able to multi-task, self-starter.

 

Physical and Mental Requirements: 

  • Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is a combination of standing, walking and sitting. 

  • Must be able to climb stairs: 5% of the day.  

  • Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use.  

  • Sight: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range vision. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination.  

  • Hearing: Sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone. 

  • Speech: Sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone.

  • Lift/Carry: Up to 25Ibs – Minimal.

  • Bending/Twisting: Minimal.  

  • Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Minimal.  

  • Constant mental alertness, accuracy, and attention to detail required.  

  • Must be able to work independently, make decisions, and follow through on all assignments.  

  • Must use creativity, independent judgment, and organizational and problem-solving skills to determine the best method to accomplish desired results.  

  • Must be able to plan and organize work.  

  • Must possess strong organizational and computer use skills and have a high level of competency to read/write/speak English, interpret construction related documentation and communicate with coworkers.
