Over the past two decades, Holland Bikes has grown into the leading provider of bike tours and rentals in France, operating more than 20 retail and rental locations and welcoming hundreds of thousands of customers each year.
In 2024, Holland Bikes expanded internationally with the opening of its first U.S. location in Brooklyn, New York. Located near the Brooklyn Bridge, the location offers high-quality Dutch bikes and e-bikes for rent, as well as guided tours of Brooklyn and Downtown Manhattan in multiple languages.
Following the success of the Brooklyn operation, Holland Bikes continued its New York expansion in 2025 with the opening of a second location in Midtown Manhattan, just a few blocks from Central Park. From this location, we offer bike and e-bike rentals as well as guided tours of Central Park and Manhattan.
As the Front Desk and Store Representative at Holland Bikes, you take care of a variety of tasks that are crucial to a seamless operation and amazing customer experience. In a nutshell, your day-to-day tasks include:
- Welcoming and checking in customers
- Handing out bikes and necessary equipment for tours and bike rentals
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Supporting tour guides in a timely departure of their tours
- Making sure the shop always looks clean and well organized

- Amazing hospitality – a warm, approachable manner, great listening skills and always willing to facilitate whenever possible
- Excellent social skills – you communicate easily with people from different countries and different cultures
- Learn and adapt quickly – in our first branch in the US, we face new challenges every day. We’re all learning and adapting quickly on the job, and we need you to do the same
- Take pride in your work – our guests trust us with their valuable time while on vacation. When we are successful in our jobs, the tours are unforgettable experiences for our guests
- The ability to work independently – you will be responsible for opening and closing the shop in the weekends
- Speaking multiple languages is a HUGE plus (in particular: Dutch, German, French or Italian)
