Responsibilities

- →Provides regular, timely and responsive communications to students using various communication methods
- →Evaluates each student’s achievement and progress; recommends strategies for success and tutors students to assist them in meeting course objectives
- →Advises students on course or program issues
- Instructs assigned course(s) according to the course plan
- Reviews class syllabus that follows the designed curriculum plan and explains course requirements
- Designs and implements teaching strategies that will assist the student in meeting course objectives Monitors student attendance and performance issues.
- Recommends changes in courses to improve course effectiveness
- Records students’ attendance and grades in CAMS
- Maintains student resources associated with assigned course in CAMS
- Participates in team-level, faculty curriculum and ad-hoc meetings
- Acts an ambassador of the College at all times when interacting with colleagues, staff, and students
- Participates in evaluative studies related to program improvement
Requirements:
Education:
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited college recognized by the Department of Education required
- One year college level online and/or classroom instruction
- Desirable: Five years college level online and/or classroom instruction
