Commercial Communication Project/Program Manager Description - Job Summary • This role is responsible for actively participating in the execution of internal projects, typically of a small-scale having local scope and low risk. The role handles project financials, provides dependable financial forecasts to management, and contributes proactively to projects through research and data analysis support. The role plays a key role in early-stage project analysis and interdepartmental coordination, ensuring project completion within schedule and budget constraints. The role also maintains relationships with first-level internal stakeholders, sharing relevant information in the form of standardized reports. Responsibilities • Participates in the execution of internal project delivery, typically encompassing small-scale projects of local scope and presenting a low level of risk. • Demonstrates proficiency in handling project financials, consistently achieving or surpassing approved budgets and engages in the process of providing dependable financial forecasts to the management. • Utilizes financial and monthly forecasting tools and works with other team members to monitor, manage, and control costs. • Drives early-stage project analysis efforts towards the delivery of executable project requirements, demonstrating basic knowledge of project management methods and tools. • Participates in interdepartmental activities, ensuring appropriate project planning and delivery, on schedule, within budget constraints, and with high levels of quality. • Develops conclusions, recommendations, and written reports, contributing proactively through research and data analysis support, and sharing knowledge to foster a knowledge management culture. • Supports priority projects with direction, providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments, and facilitates project meetings using engaging, informative methods to ensure clarity. • Maintains and nurtures relationships with internal stakeholders at the first level, shares information via standardized reports, and determines appropriate documentation. • Ensures that time, expenses, and invoices are accurately tracked and approved against the project in a timely manner. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in project management, HP Services business units and with global projects, or a related field.
