Effectively processes incoming and outgoing wire transfers through wire processing system, accurately and timely, to meet established cutoff times of 4:00 p.m. for outgoing (exceptions may apply) and 5:00 p.m. for incoming. Resolves all issues while maintaining maximum level of high-quality customer service and satisfaction. Keeps abreast of system enhancements. Provides assistance with other jobs in the Item Processing department as required.

Responsibilities

Receive, release and process all incoming and outgoing wire transfers thru Federal Reserve.

Meet critical deadlines. All wire transactions must be processed and posted within thirty minutes of time entered or received.

Monitor Federal Reserve account balance.

Perform call backs on all wire transfers initiated through digital banking over $100,000.00 and document on wire transfer worksheet the person that was spoken with and time.

Notifies listed officers on the wire transfer policy of when an increase is needed to process a wire transfer above wire transfer policy limit. Ensures the officer signs and dates wire transfer authorization form.

Perform balancing at 12:00 p.m. and end of day by printing reports from digital banking and wire processing system with Federal Reserve to ensure all wire transfers have been processed. Requires printing the three different systems wire transfer activity reports to compare.

Create a wire transfer file to upload to host for posting after 5:00 p.m. cutoff.

Perform the daily export of previous day wires to Patriot Officer. 

Perform wire related research and response to accounting reconciliation.

Maintain customer wire notifications system.

Process or assist with chargebacks through ImageCentre, also Bankway as required.

Assist with processing mobile deposits.

Assist with Zelle reconciliation. 

Assist with balancing of ATM and debit card account; notify appropriate personnel of any outages that require research or entries.

Perform back up duties in person or on the phone to customer inquiries regarding their bank accounts; including checkbook reconciliation, stop payment requests, and general item processing procedures.

Assist with processing CD interest checks. 

Assist with on-lining debit and credit transactions daily.

Assist with outgoing mail processing.

Assist with distributing work from other branches when courier arrives, call loan operations to notify them of the arrival of their work.

Completes on-line compliance training as required.

Performs other duties as required.

1. Basic banking experience. 

2. Willingness to learn and gain comprehensive understanding of wire transfers, draw downs, and service messages through Fedline Advantage.

3. Ability to interact effectively with managers and staff at every level while representing the Bank in a 
 positive manner.

4. Provides assistance to Item Processing Representative I and others as needed. 

5. Types, transmits and receives the transfer of funds using data processing equipment, adding 
     machines and display station keyboards. Exhibits excellent computer and phone skills with willingness to learn and gain complete understanding of the Item Processing Department.

7. Ability to adapt to change quickly. Must be able to multi-task.

8. Must be team player.

9. Ability to exercise effective decisions under pressure in dynamic, high monetary risk environment governed by strict deadlines, time constraints and confidentiality requirements.

10. Must be available from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for wire transfers. Creates an end of the day file after
      5:00 p.m. – cut off time for posting.
