Role Overview
The Liaison Assistant Manager will oversee government-related transactions involving motorcycle registration, permits, licenses, and vehicle documentation. This role works closely with government agencies and internal teams to ensure timely processing, regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination of registration activities while supporting the day-to-day supervision of the Liaison team.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the processing of motorcycle registrations, renewals, permits, licenses, official receipts/certificates of registration (OR/CR), and plate issuance.
  • Coordinate with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and other government agencies to facilitate registration transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the progress of applications and resolve delays to ensure timely completion of registration activities.
  • Stay updated on government regulations and communicate policy changes to relevant departments and branches.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for registration-related concerns, documentation requirements, and government transactions.
  • Assist in developing and improving procedures that strengthen compliance and streamline registration processes.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Sales, Operations, Audit, Merchandising, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support registration activities.
  • Monitor registration-related expenses, including payments, petty cash, and travel requests.
  • Review documents and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper recordkeeping.
  • Supervise, coach, and monitor the performance of Liaison team members.
  • Address operational issues, customer concerns, branch inquiries, and regulatory matters related to registration.
  • Safeguard company documents, funds, and confidential information.
  • Conduct branch visits as needed to monitor compliance and ensure consistent implementation of established procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in liaison work, government transactions, vehicle registration, administration, or a similar function.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LTO registration processes, including OR/CR issuance, plate releases, permits, and renewals, is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, documentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel to branches and government offices as required.
  • A valid driver's license is an advantage.
