The Project Finance Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and analyzing capital expenditure (CAPEX) and project-related financial transactions of the company. The role supports project accounting, budget monitoring, financial reporting, and cost control activities related to infrastructure, operational, and capital projects.
The position works closely with project managers, procurement, accounting, and operations teams to ensure project expenditures are properly recorded, monitored, and aligned with approved budgets and company policies. The role also supports management reporting, project financial analysis, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and accounting skills, experience in project finance or CAPEX monitoring, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
CAPEX Monitoring and Project Cost Control
  • Monitor and track approved CAPEX budgets and project expenditures across ongoing projects
  • Review project-related spending and ensure costs are aligned with approved budgets and project timelines
  • Prepare CAPEX utilization reports, project cost summaries, and variance analyses for management review
  • Analyze project spending trends and identify budget overruns, cost risks, or unusual variances
  • Coordinate with project teams regarding project budgets, funding requirements, and cost monitoring updates
  • Support management in monitoring project financial performance and budget utilization efficiency
Project Accounting and Financial Reporting
  • Ensure accurate recording and classification of project-related financial transactions
  • Assist in monitoring project costs, asset capitalization, and fixed asset accounting processes
  • Support preparation of financial reports and schedules related to CAPEX and project expenditures
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to project accounting and capital expenditure accounts
  • Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure project transactions are properly reflected in financial records
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation required for financial reporting and audits
Payables Processing and Vendor Coordination
  • Assist in reviewing and processing project-related billings, invoices, and payables
  • Coordinate with procurement and accounts payable teams regarding vendor payments and project billing concerns
  • Validate completeness and accuracy of supporting documents before payment processing
  • Monitor outstanding project payables and ensure timely processing of approved disbursements
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding billing discrepancies or payment clarifications
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
  • Support preparation of project cash flow projections and CAPEX forecasts
  • Assist management in evaluating project financial requirements and spending schedules
  • Analyze historical project spending trends and provide recommendations for budget optimization
  • Participate in project financial reviews and budget planning discussions
  • Support cost-benefit analysis and financial evaluation of proposed capital projects
Controls, Compliance, and Audit Support
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
  • Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation for project and CAPEX transactions
  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to project accounting and CAPEX monitoring
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to strengthen project financial controls and reporting efficiency
  • Participate in process enhancement initiatives related to project accounting and CAPEX governance
Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related course
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in CAPEX accounting, project accounting, project finance, or financial controllership
  • Candidates from audit firms must have handled clients from infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, construction, or real estate industries
  • Experience in processing payables and vendor billings is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, cost monitoring, and financial reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
