Job Role: Senior Accountant

Compensation range: $3,000 AUD - $4,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

• →Manage and complete Australian tax compliance and accounting work.
• →Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and related compliance requirements.
• →Ensure all work is accurate, complete, and delivered within deadlines.
• →Handle client correspondence and assist with client queries when required.
• →Work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• →Identify and resolve issues with minimal guidance.
• →Support and mentor junior team members as the team grows.
• →Take on potential team leadership responsibilities in the future.

• 6+ years of Australian accounting experience.
• 10+ years of overall accounting experience.
• Strong background in Australian tax compliance.
• Solid understanding of Australian accounting and taxation practices.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with Australian clients is highly desirable.
• Leadership or team mentoring experience is an advantage.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
