Steel Fabricator

Rapid Industries is looking for a Steel Fabricator to join our team. In this role you will cut metal parts and fit/assemble them into conveyor systems. It is essential to fabricate these parts according to technical blueprints, so you must have knowledge of measuring tools. This job requires physical stamina as well as basic math and reading skills. Applicants must have experience fitting and welding steel, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate steel and other metal parts according to blueprints
• Lay out cutting lines
• Use measuring tools to inspect work
• Fit fabricated steel items
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain a safe workplace at all times

Requirements:

• 3 years of fabrication experience in a manufacturing setting
• Fitting and welding experience
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job
• Basic math and reading skills
