Compliance Associate

The Compliance Associate will support the Client Risk Oversight team in carrying out day-to-day Second Line of Defence compliance activity across IFX's client onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and financial crime control framework.

The role is focused on assisting with routine KYC/CDD checks, first-line quality assurance support, screening reviews, and the accurate recording and documentation of compliance activity. The Associate will help ensure that First Line of Defence work is captured, checked, and escalated in line with IFX's policies and procedures, working closely with and under the guidance of the Compliance Specialist and other senior members of the Client Risk Oversight team.

This position is designed as an entry point into financial crime compliance. It suits an individual who is either early in their compliance career or moving into compliance from a related operational or financial services role, and who is looking to build foundational AML/KYC knowledge and practical review experience within a 2LoD environment. The role does not carry independent case ownership, escalation authority, or exposure to high-risk client decision-making — these remain with the Compliance Specialist and senior CRO colleagues.
