As a Multimedia Design Intern, you’ll play a key role in bringing learning experiences to life through motion graphics, video, and digital design. You’ll create engaging, high-quality content across our LMS, marketing channels, and digital platforms, ensuring every piece is visually compelling, on-brand, and designed with user experience (UX) and learner experience (LX) in mind. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Learning Designers, Marketing, Product, and SMEs, to produce content that drives engagement, understanding, and conversion. This is a 6 month, hybrid role.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Design and produce multimedia content, including videos, motion graphics, animations, and digital assets
- Create content for learning experiences, marketing campaigns, and product education
- Support and contribute across the full production lifecycle:
- Pre-production: storyboarding, scripting support, planning
- Post-production: editing, sound design, motion graphics, final delivery
- Contribute to web, UX/UI, and interactive content design
- Create mockups, prototypes, and proof of concepts (POCs)
- Apply UX best practices to improve learner engagement and usability
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver on the scope of work (SOW)
- Present ideas, iterate based on feedback, and maintain alignment throughout projects
- Ensure all content aligns with PXA brand guidelines and visual standards
- Perform quality assurance (QA) on all deliverables
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies
- Explore new formats, including interactive learning, gamification, and mobile-first content
- Contribute to evolving PXA initiatives such as YouTube strategy, SEO content, and digital learning experiences
- Degree or coursework in Multimedia Design, Film, Animation, or related field
- Experience creating content for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, or eLearning environments
- Strong foundation in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design
- Familiarity with UX/UI or web design principles
- Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Basic knowledge of Figma, Webflow, or similar tools is a plus
- Understanding of HTML/CSS (and basic JavaScript is advantageous)
