As an impact.com Software Engineer working on the Onboarding squad, you will drive and take ownership of various technologies to build features, enabling large-scale processing of data supporting impact products. This role is part of an Agile/Scrum team and requires active participation in all sprint ceremonies. This role assumes a certain independent capability to investigate and learn new technologies for the platform, subsequently providing recommendations to various teams backed by solid understanding of the value a technology would provide. The engineer is responsible for delivering quality code and software solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop backend services on the cloud that power our UIs
- →Assist on our Frontend developers changes to our UI
- →Create powerful APIs for partners and advertisers
- →Participate in the full product lifecycle, including ideation, prioritization, coding & testing.
- →Learn new technologies
- Hard working, passionate & dedicated.
- Knowledge of Spring Framework
- Experience with ORM Frameworks , preferred
- Experience with REST APIs
- 3+ years professional experience using Java and MySQL
- Experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
- Enjoys working in the backend or the frontend
- Experience building on cloud platforms, GCP, Azure, or AWS
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent work experience
- Creative, enthusiastic and fun, with attention to detail.
- A fast learner who loves solving problems.
- A great communicator who enjoys working with others
