Indie Campers, the go-to campervan Marketplace, is on a mission of making road trips available to everyone. Thanks to its digital approach and customer-centric orientation, Indie Campers has developed a strong booking experience and high-quality road trips at affordable prices.

With over one million nights rented through our travel platform, we have welcomed more than 300,000 travelers from 169 countries. We offer a comprehensive and expanding array of road trip possibilities: short-term RV rentals, long-term campervan subscriptions, and the possibility of buying one of our vehicles available for sale.

Rooted in a deep technological focus, our challenges are both exciting and demanding and require top talent and motivation to be successfully pursued. We are growing our team and looking for those interested in pursuing this dream with us and joining an ever-developing journey.

As Finance Business Partner – APAC, you will be the financial backbone of Indie Campers’ operations across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. This senior individual contributor role blends business partnering with corporate finance — you’ll enable smarter, faster decisions through financial insight, while also managing the region’s capital and funding strategy in close collaboration with HQ.

You’ll work directly with the Regional GM and the Global Finance team to drive budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and investment planning — ensuring financial discipline across all cost centers while supporting the long-term growth of the region.

  • Track KPIs such as budget deviation, cost per unit, and contribution margin across business lines.

Cost Control & Financial Operations

  • Strengthen cost management processes, with particular focus on fleet-related and operational expenses.
  • Implement budget control mechanisms, invoice/PO approval flows, and spending dashboards for real-time visibility.
  • Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, ensuring adherence to budgets and operational targets.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure correct cost allocation, accrual accuracy, and compliance with internal controls.

Corporate Finance & Capital Planning

  • Manage APAC cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning, anticipating funding needs and optimizing working capital.
  • Build relationships with banks, lessors, and external partners to ensure access to competitive financing options.
  • Contribute to 5-year financial plans and investment models for new business units, depots, or product launches in the region.

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, controlling, corporate finance, or FP&A, ideally in a fast-paced or asset-intensive industry.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills — expert in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, SQL) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of supporting management teams through data-driven financial insights.
  • Experience managing cash flow, investment modeling, or capital structuring projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to simplify financial data for non-finance audiences.
  • Highly autonomous, structured, and comfortable owning results end-to-end.
