About the role

Join a fast-growing fintech where your work actually matters. INETCO is looking for a hands-on self-motivated accountant to join our collaborative finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the day-to-day accounting function, thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking for a long-term role where they can grow alongside the business.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly, supporting month-end close and contributing to special projects and admin support as the company continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements
• Process accounts payable payments
• Prepare and process customer invoices and apply incoming payments
• Provide maintenance and reconciliation of accounts
• Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Prepare and file GST/PST returns
• Support audits, financial reviews and ad hoc reporting requests
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed

About you

• Min 2 years of full cycle accounting experience
• Diploma or equivalent in accounting
• In depth knowledge of accounting principles, processes and controls
• Proficiency with QBO, Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint, Plooto and Salesforce experience is a plus)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a close-knit team
• Positive, self-motivated and eager to learn
