Seeking a Semiconductor Test Engineer with expertise in ATE test development, DFT, and SoC validation for RF, connectivity, and IoT products. The role focuses on silicon bring-up, characterization, production testing, yield improvement, and test automation using Teradyne UltraFLEX platforms . The ideal candidate will combine strong technical problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, scalable test solutions for volume manufacturing. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Should have strong knowledge of semiconductor device fundamentals, including analog/digital circuits and circuit theory, to support product test development and validation. Utilize expertise in Design for Test (DFT) methodologies, including ATPG, PMU blocks, BUCLK, LDOs, and trimming techniques. Develop and execute semiconductor test solutions using Teradyne UltraFLEX-RF platforms; experience with UltraFLEX+ is an added advantage. Create, debug, and optimize ATE test programs, while troubleshooting hardware- and software-related test issues. Provide technical support and test engineering expertise to internal teams, manufacturing partners, and customers. Develop automation and test solutions using programming and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, C, C++, Java, and Visual Basic. Develop and debug characterization and production test programs for SoC connectivity products, including Digital, Mixed-Signal, PMU, NVM, and RF blocks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IP Design, Applications, DFT, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering to ensure smooth product development and production release. Leverage UNIX/Linux environments, shell scripting, and command-line tools for test automation, debugging, and workflow optimization. Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while working in a global engineering environment. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Develop and document comprehensive test plans and validation strategies for next-generation IoT products. Design, develop, and debug ATE hardware and software solutions for production and reliability testing. Perform silicon bring-up, characterization, and debugging on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms. Deliver high-quality, cost-effective test solutions to support high-volume manufacturing. Coordinate and oversee test-related hardware and software activities with both internal teams and external test houses. Develop, optimize, and release production test programs for offshore manufacturing and production sites. Drive continuous improvements in test coverage, yield, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or a related discipline. Strong team player with a proactive approach and passion for continuous learning and innovation. Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Open-minded, transparent, and collaborative in approach. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
