Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
* Device Characterization: Conduct advanced characterization of CMOS devices using state-of-the-art measurement equipment, including DC, AC and Low-Frequency (1/f) Noise measurements
* Test Structure Verification: Verify test structures on wafer for accurate measurement enablement
* Data Validation: Validate measured data for accuracy and consistency, including noise data (e.g., PSD and corner frequency)
* Automation Script Development: Develop automation scripts for measurement and data evaluation, including processing of Low-Frequency Noise data
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
* Study Field: Currently studying Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar
* Skills: Skilled in scripting (e.g. Python, R) with ability to interpret and document measurement results, including basic spectral/noise data analysis
* Interests: Interest in doing DC, AC and Low-Frequency Noise measurements on CMOS devices as well as interpreting the measured data
* Personality: Interested in collaboration and an excellent team player
* Language skills: Fluent English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:
* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
* You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
