Join our Custom Apps team in Ljubljana as a student developer. We build web and mobile applications that turn satellite imagery into tools for agriculture and land monitoring—working on projects for government agencies and public-facing platforms. You'll support the team across multiple projects, tackling smaller tasks like bug fixes, UI improvements, testing, and integrations. This is hands-on work where you'll learn by doing, with experienced engineers there to guide you—and AI tools to accelerate your learning.

This is a part-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our Ljubljana office 3 days per week.

• Engineer user interfaces for web and mobile applications to enhance satellite imagery accessibility.
• Fix software bugs and develop features for backend systems to improve platform stability.
• Write automated test suites to ensure high code quality and prevent regression.
• Integrate various services with databases to streamline data flows.
• Facilitate deployment processes to maintain continuous delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate in code reviews to maintain and improve team engineering standards.
• Document technical specifications and workflows for future scalability and maintenance.
• Utilize AI coding tools to accelerate problem-solving and technical skill development.

• Currently enrolled in a full-time program at a university studying software or other engineering-related courses
• Foundation in programming with Java or React
• Exposure to web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with Git
• Basic understanding of databases
• Comfortable communicating in English (our team's working language)
• Proactive approach to learning and technical inquiry

• Interest in geospatial technologies and working with maps
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• Experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor)
• Experience with developing mobile apps, especially with React Native
