About the Team The team is responsible for overseeing firm wide project support, operational business analytics, process design and quality assurance as well as operations research focusing on topics including operating scale, control and emerging operating platforms. Manila Innovations Team aims to deliver business solutions through software development, process automation and business intelligence projects to the Operations team. Operations is responsible for supporting the various trading, investment and reporting activities of the firm. The core mission of the teams within Operations is to establish scalable investment workflows, ensure a controlled operating environment and deliver high-quality client service to both internal and external business relationships. In addition to supporting primary investment related activities, the groups assist in the design and implementation of firm-wide projects, operational due diligence, counterparty management and client-related activities. Duties and Responsibilities:  Partner with stakeholders across operations to understand business processes, workflows, and key operational challenges  Analyze current operations and identify opportunities for improvement or automation  Gather, validate, and document business and functional requirements  Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation—including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, data flow diagrams (DFDs), and Swim-lane process flows—while maintaining a comprehensive data dictionary to standardize data definitions.  Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements  Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather feedback for improvements  Continuously refine documentation and processes for clarity and efficiency  Any related process as required by the team and the organization. Requirements Qualification: 1. Proven experience in business analysis, consulting, or similar role 2. Strong understanding of business process mapping and requirements gathering 3. Experience working with technical teams (developers, engineers, QA) 4. Ability to translate non-technical requirements into technical documentation 5. Basic understanding of SQL, API, and relational databases 6. Strong understanding of Investment operations and Asset Management 7. Good grasps of basic to intermediate functions in MS Office applications 8. Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn in a fast-paced client-support environment. 9. A team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics. 10. Well organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and manage and keep track of various deadlines 11. Ability to work well with team mates effectively without supervision and deliver high quality output 12. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and keep pace with technical and operational innovation 13. Ability to work with different cultures and across different geographic locations. Education and Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered. 2. 2+ years’ experience in a Business Analysis or Solutions Consultant role for an Investment Management firm 3. Understanding of data architecture concepts and foundational data engineering principles would be an advantage. 4. A Bachelor's/College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting or other related business course would be an advantage. 5. At least 2 to 3 years’ experience handling Financial Information or Investment Reports is a plus.
