Your role
The main purpose of this role is to support OpenStack based telco cloud infrastructure.
What you will do
- Operate and maintain OpenStack compute, storage, and network services
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents and performance issues
- Perform capacity planning, scaling, and lifecycle management
- Support integrations with orchestration, monitoring, and automation layers
- Ensure availability and resilience of NFV infrastructure
- Operate and maintain OpenStack compute, storage, and network services
- Strong Linux administration (RHEL / CentOS / Rocky)
- Process, memory, disk, CPU troubleshooting
- Systemd, journald, log analysis
- Networking basics: ports, firewalls, DNS, routing
- SSH, SCP, file permissions, SELinux (basic)
- openstack CLI
- Service logs
- Prometheus (metrics basics)
- Grafana dashboards
- Alerts & thresholds
- Log analysis (Splunk / ELK / journald)
- Basic understanding of:
- MTTR
- Alert noise reduction
- Basic Ansible playbooks (run & troubleshoot)
- Shell scripting (log cleanup, checks)
- Terraform awareness (read & validate, not design)
- CI/CD awareness (pipelines, failures)
