Accenture Construct – Senior Project Cost Analyst, ANS
Quick Summary
You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough." You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built. At Accenture Construct, that's the job.
You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.
At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.
· You’ll perform project cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for major Utility New Gas Generation projects throughout development, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
· You’ll interface with internal and external project team members, including project managers, engineering teams, construction teams, contractors, finance, accounting, procurement, and other stakeholders to support effective cost monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
· You’ll build and maintain project cost models, budgets, and forecasts and perform scenario analyses to evaluate potential project outcomes and support management decision-making.
· You’ll prepare and maintain project cash flow estimates and monthly cost forecasts, including Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC), and analyze changes from prior forecasts.
· You’ll provide day-to-day monitoring and analysis of project commitments, expenditures, accruals, forecasts, budgets, and variances and identify emerging trends that could affect overall project cost performance.
· You’ll utilize systems and analytical tools such as Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, PowerPlan, Excel, and other project and financial systems to perform analyses, interpret project data, and develop management reports and presentations.
· You’ll support the development and execution of Cost Quantitative Risk Analyses (QRA), including evaluation of cost uncertainty and contingency requirements.
· You’ll support the project Change Management process by evaluating the cost implications of proposed and approved changes and ensuring approved changes are appropriately reflected in project budgets and forecasts.
· You’ll provide Cost Management expertise by identifying process and data gaps, recommending corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement of project cost engineering standards, tools, processes, and reporting.
· You’ll support the development and maintenance of project issue and risk registers and participate in the identification, assessment, and management of project cost risks.
· You’ll create project performance metrics, dashboards, and reports that provide project leadership with clear visibility into budget, actual costs, commitments, forecasts, variances, contingency, risks, and emerging cost trends.
· You’ll demonstrate a commitment to safety through active participation in safety meetings, safety inspections, and field observations where applicable.
Requirements
~1 min read- The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
- You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
- AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
- Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
- Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
- Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
- Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.
- Accenture Construct is Accenture's global capital projects business.
- The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
- We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
