You’ll serve as the tunneling technical lead on major underground infrastructure projects.
You’ll lead constructability reviews during design development.
You’ll review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and technical submittals and support procurement planning and contractor evaluation.
You’ll provide construction management oversight during shaft excavation, microtunneling, TBM operations, and tunnel construction.
You’ll review contractor means and methods.
You’ll evaluate tunneling risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
You’ll review instrumentation and monitoring programs and support quality assurance and quality control activities.
You’ll participate in client meetings and technical workshops.
You’ll support proposal development and interviews for Water, Transit, and Infrastructure pursuits.
You’ll mentor project teams on tunneling best practices.
Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

15+ years of tunneling and underground construction experience
Experience with:
- Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM)
- Microtunneling
- Slurry and EPB machines
- Deep shaft construction
- Underground construction management
- Geotechnical engineering
- QA/QC
- Constructability reviews
- Contractor oversight
- Experience on owner-side or CM projects preferred.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Experience supporting proposals and technical interviews is highly desirable.
- Experience on one or more of the following: Water transmission tunnels, wastewater tunnels, rail transit tunnels, highway tunnels, utility tunnels, major underground infrastructure programs
