Innovetive Petcare (IPC) | Remote | Full-Time |
Are you a detail-oriented, tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys helping teams use technology to work more efficiently? Do you like taking a project from setup through implementation and becoming the person others can count on when they need help?

Innovetive Petcare (IPC) is looking for a Strategic Initiatives Specialist to join our Strategic Initiatives team. This remote, full-time role supports veterinary hospitals across our multi-site network by implementing technology, improving workflows, supporting hospital teams, and helping programs deliver measurable results.

You’ll work behind the scenes to make it easier for veterinary teams to do what they do best: provide excellent care to pets and their clients.
At Innovetive Petcare, we believe excellent pet care comes from exceptional teams. We provide veterinary hospitals with the resources, technology, operational support, and infrastructure they need to thrive—while preserving the unique identity and autonomy of each hospital.

Our central support teams help hospitals operate more efficiently, improve the client experience, and create more opportunities for patients to receive the care they need.
The Strategic Initiatives team helps IPC hospitals see more patients and operate more efficiently by putting the right technology, processes, and central support behind hospital teams.

Our work spans a variety of veterinary technology, client engagement, practice management, communications, and operational programs, including:
  • Practice Management Systems (PIMS): Optimizing system setup, workflows, data, and processes so veterinary hospitals get the most value from their practice management software.
  • Call Center Support: Supporting centralized communication functions including pharmacy processing, appointment scheduling, reminder outreach, and failed or lapsed payment follow-up.
  • Online Pharmacy: Optimizing online pharmacy platforms and increasing utilization across veterinary hospitals.
  • Client Engagement Technology: Supporting platforms such as Oliver for two-way texting, online appointment booking, payments, client communication, and other digital engagement tools.
  • Veterinary Phone Systems and AI: Supporting Weave phone systems and AI-powered virtual assistants that can answer calls, schedule appointments, and conduct proactive client outreach.
  • Appointment Reminders: Helping ensure pets receive timely reminders and follow-up for recommended and preventive veterinary care.
  • Emerging Technology: Evaluating, piloting, implementing, and scaling new technology and programs as veterinary industry needs evolve.
Our goal is simple: remove barriers between pets and the veterinary care they need. When clients can easily reach their veterinary hospital, schedule an appointment, and follow through with care, pets are healthier and hospitals are stronger. We see our role as a service to our hospital teams—we succeed when they succeed.
The Strategic Initiatives Specialist turns centrally designed technology, tools, and programs into results at the individual veterinary hospital level.

You will help bring new technology and processes to life through system setup, data entry, configuration, implementation, training support, troubleshooting, and follow-through. You'll also share what you learn from hospitals to help the Strategic Initiatives team continuously improve its programs and future implementations.

Each Specialist has a primary area of responsibility within the Strategic Initiatives portfolio while also being cross-trained to support three core technologies:
  • Veterinary Practice Management Systems (PIMS)
  • Weave phone systems
  • AI-powered Virtual Assistants
This cross-training provides hospitals with a reliable resource when they need support and gives our team the flexibility to keep projects moving as priorities change.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is service-oriented, organized, curious about technology, and comfortable solving problems independently. If you enjoy learning new software, helping others understand technology, managing multiple projects, and seeing your work make a tangible difference, we'd love to hear from you.
