Café Assistant

Look no further! Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Café Assistant to support daily café operations at our Moorebank location. Working closely with our Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll help deliver high‑quality food preparation, barista service and customer experience within a busy corporate café environment.

You’ll assist with breakfast and lunch service, prepare fresh food items, operate the POS system, maintain café presentation, and ensure all customers — staff, visitors and clients — receive friendly, professional service.

This role suits someone energetic, organised and confident working across both front‑of‑house and kitchen support, with a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness and customer care.

• →Take and process customer orders, including food and beverages
• →Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions
• →Keep work areas clean and organised
• →Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed
• →Follow good personal hygiene practices, such as regular handwashing
• →Restocking items as needed

What you can offer:

• →Previous experience as a cafe assistant or hospitality is preferred
• →Ideally possess a barista certificate
• →Self-motivated with a strong focus on safety, the environment and compliance
• →Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• →Customer-focused with a high level of attention to detail
• →Excellent organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• →Ability to maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
• →Clear criminal background with police check dated within 12 months
