ITS: International Transportation Services

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the company's drivers operate safely and in compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and company regulations. This role monitors safety performance, investigates incidents, coaches drivers, and supports the company's goal of maintaining a strong safety culture.

• → Monitor driver compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• → Review HOS violations, ELD logs, and driver qualification files.
• → Conduct driver safety meetings and coaching sessions.
• → Investigate accidents, incidents, and claims.
• → Manage accident reporting and corrective action plans.
• → Monitor CSA scores and identify improvement opportunities.
• → Administer driver safety programs and recognition initiatives.
• → Conduct ride-alongs and safety observations when needed.
• → Track driver training and recurring safety requirements.
• → Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
• → Coordinate with Operations regarding driver performance.
• → Assist with DOT audits and compliance reviews.
• → Review Samsara safety events and coach drivers accordingly.
• → Recommend policies and procedures to improve safety performance.

• 3+ years of transportation safety experience.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with Samsara, ELDs, and driver qualification files.
• Strong investigation and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
