About the Role
Jimerson Birr is hiring a Paralegal to support our General Business Advisory team, working across corporate, employment, and intellectual property matters, with particular depth in trademark practice. You’ll be the person keeping deals, filings, and disputes moving on time, across a docket that touches entity work, HR-adjacent employment matters, and brand protection.

Trademark work is where this seat earns its keep. You’re fluent in ESTTA, comfortable pulling and tracking TTAB files, and you know the difference between an Office Action that needs a quick response and an Opposition that needs a real strategy conversation. Madrid Protocol filings don’t rattle you, the USPTO’s systems are simply part of your daily toolkit, not something you have to relearn each time.

Across the rest of the docket, you move between corporate filings, contract review, and employment documents without losing your footing, adjusting your pace as deadlines shift. You’d rather run a proven checklist than reinvent one, and you trust a process that already works instead of second-guessing it matter to matter. You stay even-keeled under a full plate: factual, direct, and clear-headed when a matter gets tense.
