Pay Grade/Pay Range:  Minimum: $15.00 - Midpoint: $17.26 (Hourly N1)


Department/Organization: 508111 - Capstone Village Assisted Living


Normal Work Schedule: Saturday - Sunday 7:00am to 3:00pm; Every other weekend


Job Summary: The Resident Aide provides direct care to residents in Capstone Village primarily for their activities of daily living. Assists with therapeutic activities programs and restorative programs. Completes documentation as required by the facility.


Additional Department Summary: Assists residents with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, positioning, turning, using the restroom, and exercising. Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed. Assists residents to dining area for meals or provides meals in resident's quarters. Assists in tray setup and feeding of residents. Documents intake or nourishment. Serves between-meal nourishment and assist as needed.


Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of healthcare work experience. Must complete dementia training within five (5) days of employment


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.


Skills and Knowledge: Communication and listening skills. Knowledge of Alzheimer's/Dementia care.


Preferred Qualifications: CPR certification and DETA training.
