This is an exciting opportunity to support pricing and actuarial analytics for homeowners insurance products in a fully remote environment. You’ll work across data preparation, exploratory analysis, predictive modeling, and pricing analysis while learning from experienced actuarial professionals. The role offers exposure to GLM modeling, rating relativities, competitive analysis, and regulatory rate filing support. Your analytical work will contribute directly to pricing strategies, financial performance, and effective risk management. You’ll collaborate with US-based teams in a data-driven environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and thoughtful decision-making. This role is well suited to an actuarial professional who wants to strengthen their technical skills while progressing toward professional actuarial credentials.

Prepare, clean, and validate datasets used for pricing and actuarial analyses, including performing detailed data quality checks.

Compile exhibits, analyses, and supporting documentation for insurance rate filings.

Conduct competitive rate comparisons and analyze market trends to support pricing decisions.

Perform actuarial analyses, investigate results, and communicate findings with guidance from senior team members.

Assist in developing, testing, and validating Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) and rating relativities.

Participate in technical and peer reviews, incorporating feedback to improve analytical work and deliverables.

Develop dashboards and reports to monitor pricing and portfolio performance following implementation.

Support and maintain analytical tools and processes used by the actuarial team.

Maintain progress toward actuarial credentials through continued exam completion, technical development, and professional learning.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

At least one actuarial exam successfully completed, with demonstrated commitment to progressing through additional actuarial exams.

2–4 years of relevant experience, including actuarial internships or entry-level actuarial positions.

Strong Excel skills and basic proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience working with US-based business teams and an understanding of professional collaboration across remote environments.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Ability to organize priorities, manage deadlines, and work independently in a fully remote setting.

A quiet and suitable home workspace with a reliable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

Availability to work 8 hours per day, excluding breaks, including 4 core US-hours of overlap from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST and 4 additional flexible hours in IST.
