- Interact with advanced AI language models in Levantine Arabic across a broad range of subjects and conversational scenarios.
- Evaluate linguistic accuracy, including vocabulary, phonetics, morphology, syntax, grammar, idiomatic expressions, and regional dialect variations.
- Assess whether AI-generated responses accurately reflect cultural context, local references, conversational norms, and intended meaning.
- Identify and document model failures involving contextual interpretation, semantic accuracy, dialect distinctions, and cultural nuance.
- Produce clear, reproducible examples of linguistic errors to help technical teams understand and address model weaknesses.

Requirements

- Excellent knowledge of linguistic structures, including phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, and contextual language interpretation.
- Ability to distinguish regional dialect variations and assess subtle differences in meaning, tone, and cultural relevance.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify linguistic errors and explain why a response is inaccurate or unnatural.
- Clear, structured communication skills and the ability to document findings, provide examples, and explain reasoning in a reproducible manner.
- A master’s degree in Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, Translation, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional experience in language teaching, translation, linguistic documentation, or community-based language work is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and deliver consistent, high-quality evaluations in a remote freelance environment.
- Access to a secure computer and a reliable high-speed internet connection, as these are the contractor’s responsibility.
