This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to oversee clinical teams within a remote, telehealth-focused environment.
The role combines clinical leadership, people management, operational oversight, and quality assurance.
You will mentor and support Nurse Practitioners and other clinical professionals while promoting high standards of patient-centered care.
You will also help optimize clinical workflows, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives designed to improve service delivery and expand patient access.
Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, operational discipline, and experience working in functional medicine and telemedicine.
The position is fully remote and suited to an independent leader who can collaborate effectively across clinical and administrative teams.

Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate Nurse Practitioners and other clinical team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and workload management to maintain appropriate clinical coverage.
Provide clinical oversight and guidance to Nurse Practitioners, supporting evidence-based decision-making and high-quality patient care.
Provide direct patient care when needed to maintain clinical expertise and support staffing requirements.
Oversee clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with electronic health record requirements.
Partner with leadership to establish clinical goals, policies, procedures, and operational priorities.
Monitor and improve clinical workflows to increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and support a consistent patient experience.
Analyze clinical performance indicators, including patient outcomes and satisfaction metrics, and develop initiatives for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and professional licensure standards.
Lead quality assurance activities such as peer reviews, chart audits, and patient safety initiatives.
Support accreditation and certification processes when applicable.
Collaborate with medical and administrative leadership on strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and service delivery improvements.
Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and management, ensuring policies, priorities, feedback, and organizational updates are communicated effectively.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
5+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
2+ years of leadership or people-management experience within a clinical setting.
Demonstrated experience in functional medicine required.
At least 1 year of telemedicine experience.
Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, mentoring, and team leadership skills.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical management software.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas, California, and/or Florida preferred.
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
Specialty-specific certification, such as FNP, AGNP, or PNP, preferred or required as applicable.
Project management experience preferred.
Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free workspace and participate in video meetings with camera enabled.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home office or dedicated workspace required.
