Data Quality Analyst

The Data Quality Analyst will help strengthen the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across CRM and database systems. This temporary role focuses on identifying, correcting, and preventing data quality issues that can affect reporting and operational workflows. You will work with multiple systems and established data governance practices to maintain clean, reliable, and standardized records. Your work will support more accurate reporting, effective engagement and outreach, and reduced manual processing. The role also contributes to broader data quality initiatives, system improvements, and future integrations. This is a primarily remote position with initial training and occasional in-person collaboration.
- Identify and evaluate duplicate records using established matching criteria, business rules, and data quality standards.
- Perform record merges while preserving important information such as giving history, contact details, and relationship data.
- Update and standardize core constituent information, including names, addresses, email addresses, and other key fields.
- Review and resolve incomplete records, inconsistencies, formatting issues, and other data quality concerns.
- Carry out data cleanup activities supporting broader data quality initiatives and system improvements.
- Follow established data governance standards and document handling procedures when making record updates.
- Process Salesforce requests involving record merges, data corrections, and constituent updates.
- Support ongoing data validation and enrichment activities to improve the reliability and usability of organizational data.
Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in data entry, database management, data cleanup, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on data accuracy.
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate remotely with colleagues across different states and time zones.
- Strong service orientation and commitment to maintaining high-quality work.
- Experience with CRM systems or database platforms is preferred.
- Experience with data deduplication, record merging, or data quality initiatives is an advantage.
- Familiarity with nonprofit data structures, including households, donors, and relationship records, is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
