This is a mid-level DevOps engineering role focused on building and operating reliable cloud-based platforms and release systems. You will own CI/CD pipelines, Azure infrastructure, deployment tooling, and observability across development and production environments. The role combines DevOps expertise with hands-on C# development to address application-level performance and deployment challenges. You will help make releases faster, safer, more consistent, and easier to operate. Working closely with engineers and product managers, you will align release work with roadmap priorities and customer needs. This is a fully remote, DevOps-first opportunity with significant ownership and autonomy.

Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for compiling, testing, and releasing products.
Manage application deployments through Octopus Deploy across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Deploy, configure, automate, and document Azure infrastructure while maintaining consistency across environments.
Develop and modify C# code to improve application performance and make products easier, faster, and safer to deploy.
Identify and resolve performance issues spanning applications, databases, and infrastructure.
Strengthen observability through effective logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting to identify issues proactively.
Debug production incidents across application code, deployment pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
Conduct thorough code reviews and troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack.
Collaborate with engineering and product managers to understand roadmap priorities and coordinate release activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent professional experience.
3–6 years of relevant DevOps, software engineering, or related experience.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including building and maintaining pipelines and working with Git.
Practical experience deploying and configuring Azure components through the Azure Portal.
Experience managing application releases with tools such as Octopus Deploy.
Professional experience developing with C# and working with SQL Server.
Ability to work collaboratively in an iterative engineering environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex challenges using logical, analytical, and creative thinking without requiring a detailed roadmap.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.
Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting for build and deployment automation.
Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Datadog or comparable monitoring and observability platforms is a plus.
