Product ManagementProduct Director

As Director of Product, you will own the product operating model from strategy and discovery through delivery, adoption, and measurable business outcomes. You will lead a team of Product Managers embedded within cross-functional pods and establish the practices, decision rights, and accountability needed to deliver effectively. Reporting to the COO, you will connect customer needs, business priorities, technical strategy, UX, data, and execution into a cohesive product direction. You will own the annual roadmap and quarterly planning process while ensuring teams prioritize evidence and outcomes over feature volume. The role also includes shaping AI-enabled product opportunities, strengthening technical product leadership, and improving delivery health. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced product executive who enjoys building strong teams and turning strategy into action.

  • Own outcome accountability across product pods, establishing clear missions, success metrics, guardrails, decision rights, operating cadences, and shared accountability across Product, UX, and Engineering.
  • Resolve cross-pod dependencies, sequencing conflicts, and platform-versus-feature tradeoffs while maintaining clear escalation and decision-making processes.
  • Lead, coach, develop, hire, and retain Product Managers while strengthening product management capabilities across discovery, customer problem definition, experimentation, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Translate company strategy into a product strategy supported by a north star metric and metric tree, ensuring product teams connect their work to measurable customer and business outcomes.
  • Establish consistent customer research, usability, experimentation, analytics, and evidence-based prioritization practices across product teams.
  • Build direct exposure to professional tradespeople and internal users into product development and balance investment across growth, platform health, and exploratory initiatives.
  • Own the annual product roadmap and quarterly planning process, including OKRs, capacity modeling, prioritization, tradeoffs, and executive alignment.
  • Maintain a clear, prioritized backlog with strong definitions of readiness and completion, while distinguishing committed work from discovery, experimentation, and future opportunities.
  • Establish delivery discipline across major initiatives, including scope, milestones, ownership, dependencies, risks, launch criteria, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across Product, IT, UX, AI enablement, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, Data, and other relevant teams.
  • Improve delivery health through metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and predictability while eliminating processes that do not improve decision-making or execution.
  • Partner with IT and engineering leadership on architecture, security, reliability, scalability, technical debt, platform modernization, integrations, APIs, and other technical dependencies.
  • Evaluate build, buy, and partner opportunities based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, implementation risk, cost, and long-term maintainability.
  • Partner with AI leadership to identify, evaluate, prioritize, and scale AI opportunities across customer-facing products and internal workflows.
  • Ensure AI-enabled products have clear users, outcomes, success measures, data requirements, adoption plans, security considerations, and responsible-use practices.
  • Establish product analytics, instrumentation, and reporting that enable reliable measurement of adoption, customer behavior, operational impact, and business results.
