This is a senior product leadership opportunity within a remote-first, engineering-led technology environment.
You’ll own product cohesion across a portfolio of automation, data, orchestration, and developer-focused platforms.
As the most senior dedicated product leader, you’ll establish product practices rather than inherit an established product organization.
You’ll shape how teams discover customer needs, prioritize opportunities, define outcomes, and validate what they build.
A major part of the role is coaching engineers to strengthen their product judgment and customer-centric decision-making.
You’ll work across multiple products and help create a shared direction while preserving the distinct strengths of each platform.
This role offers significant influence, autonomy, and the opportunity to define how product management operates within a high-performance engineering culture.

Own product cohesion across the portfolio, defining how the different products complement one another, where they overlap, where they remain distinct, and how the overall portfolio should evolve.
Establish and lead a strong product discovery practice centered on user conversations, customer signals, evidence gathering, and problem validation.
Set standards for effective discovery and coach engineers to conduct meaningful customer conversations and incorporate user evidence into product decisions.
Partner closely with engineering teams to frame problems, evaluate evidence, prioritize opportunities, and determine what should and should not be built.
Strengthen product judgment across product engineers by coaching teams on customer understanding, problem definition, prioritization, trade-offs, and decision-making.
Design and own a system for measuring product success, defining clear outcomes and success criteria for initiatives.
Establish consistent post-launch validation practices to assess whether shipped products and features are delivering their intended outcomes.
Ensure insights from customer feedback and post-launch measurement are incorporated into future product priorities and roadmap decisions.
Coordinate product responsibilities across multiple platforms and teams, creating alignment without relying on direct reporting authority.
Provide senior product leadership in an engineering-led organization while helping establish the foundations for a scalable product function.

Requirements

10+ years of product experience, including significant product management leadership experience.
Demonstrated ownership of multi-team roadmaps, complex prioritization decisions, and product delivery through teams outside of your direct reporting structure.
Experience working in startup environments and engineering-led organizations where influence, credibility, and collaboration are essential to driving product outcomes.
Strong ability to operate without an established product organization, building effective practices, frameworks, and decision-making systems from the ground up.
Experience synthesizing perspectives across multiple products, platforms, or business domains, particularly where platform and product priorities need to be balanced.
Experience with multi-product portfolios, platform/product strategy, or post-acquisition product integration is highly relevant.
Deep familiarity with the modern data stack, data orchestration, developer tools, or related technical products.
Experience with agentic systems, MCP, or comparable emerging developer technologies is a plus.
Strong customer discovery, product strategy, prioritization, and outcome measurement capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others, particularly engineers who carry meaningful product ownership.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical teams and senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
Comfortable operating with significant autonomy, ambiguity, and ownership in a fast-moving environment.
