  • Build and execute annual communications plans covering audiences, objectives, strategies, initiatives, budgets, and performance measures.

  • Identify opportunities to communicate scientific expertise, innovation, medical advances, and patient impact beyond major data releases, regulatory decisions, and product announcements.

  • Lead communications planning and execution across the product lifecycle, including clinical data readouts, publications, regulatory milestones, launches, indication expansions, and lifecycle activities.

  • Translate complex scientific concepts, mechanisms of action, and clinical data into accurate, accessible, compelling, and compliant communications.

  • Lead communications strategy for priority medical congresses and scientific meetings, including media engagement, executive visibility, digital content, press materials, and internal communications.

  • Serve as a strategic communications counselor to the Chief Medical Officer for Hematology and other senior scientific and medical leaders, developing thought-leadership and executive visibility strategies.

  • Prepare executives and scientific leaders for high-profile engagements through briefings, talking points, messaging, and strategic counsel.

  • Monitor scientific, competitive, regulatory, and stakeholder developments to identify communications opportunities and potential reputation risks.

  • Support issues preparedness, escalation, response planning, and crisis communications in partnership with media relations and relevant corporate teams.

  • Establish and track communications metrics covering message adoption, stakeholder engagement, executive visibility, media quality, and reputation outcomes.

  • Manage communications budgets, agencies, scopes, deliverables, and spending while ensuring materials and activities meet applicable medical, legal, regulatory, privacy, and compliance requirements.

  • Provide strategic leadership while remaining hands-on in execution and supporting broader team priorities when enterprise needs require.
