You’ll use prescription audit and market data to identify the right healthcare professionals and improve commercial effectiveness.
The role also involves executing product activations in alignment with marketing strategies and maintaining accurate activity reporting.
You’ll collaborate closely with regional and general trade teams to support broader business objectives.
This opportunity is suited to a science or pharmacy graduate who can communicate technical information effectively while maintaining strong commercial and compliance standards.

  • Build favorable product recommendations and prescriptions among relevant healthcare professionals through effective scientific promotion.

  • Execute regular coverage plans for assigned specialties and provide healthcare professionals with relevant scientific information on products and disease conditions.

  • Ensure appropriate coverage of healthcare professionals and pharmacies, including effective product detailing to relevant pharmacy stakeholders.

  • Conduct segmentation and targeting activities through Retail Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA) at mapped chemist outlets to identify and engage appropriate healthcare professionals.

  • Execute product activations and category initiatives in alignment with marketing strategies to maximize impact with healthcare professionals.

  • Accurately and promptly report healthcare professional coverage, pharmacy coverage, RCPA findings, and activation activities through designated systems.

  • Demonstrate strong in-clinic effectiveness by applying appropriate selling and communication skills to explain product science according to healthcare professional needs.

  • Consistently work toward sales objectives by understanding territory performance, analyzing relevant data, managing territory dynamics, and monitoring competitive activity.

  • Maintain and reconcile monthly inventory of promotional inputs and product samples.

  • Collaborate closely with the General Trade team and relevant regional stakeholders to support the overall regional business plan.

  • Respond promptly to healthcare professional queries within the scope of available knowledge and seek appropriate support when additional expertise is required.

  • Follow all applicable compliance and reporting protocols, including requirements related to adverse-event reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.

  • Degree specialization in Science or B. Pharm.

  • Strong ability to communicate scientific and product-related information clearly to healthcare professionals.

  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with doctors, pharmacists, chemists, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Understanding of sales execution, territory management, customer segmentation, and prescription-generation activities.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret territory, prescription, and market data to identify opportunities and performance gaps.

  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communication to specific healthcare professional needs.

  • Commercial orientation and ability to consistently work toward defined sales objectives.

  • Strong organizational skills, particularly for managing field coverage, reporting, inventory, and samples.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, General Trade, and regional stakeholders.

  • Strong commitment to compliance, ethical conduct, and accurate reporting.

  • Proactive approach to responding to stakeholder questions and resolving issues within the appropriate area of expertise.
