This is a field-based technical applications role supporting customers across the immunohistochemistry and pathology laboratory environment.
You will serve as a trusted technical partner, helping customers successfully implement, optimize, and maximize the value of laboratory solutions.
The role combines customer training, instrument implementation, workflow optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing applications support.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Service, Technical Support, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex applications challenges.
Your expertise will contribute to customer satisfaction, product adoption, retention, and regional commercial growth.
The position is fully remote from your home while requiring significant travel throughout the assigned territory.
This is an opportunity to work directly with laboratory professionals and contribute to technologies that support cancer diagnostics and pathology workflows.

Partner with Sales and Service teams to support regional revenue growth, customer retention, and successful adoption of laboratory solutions through technical expertise and consultative customer engagement.
Lead instrument installations, product evaluations, validations, workflow optimization activities, and customer onboarding to support successful implementation and utilization.
Provide expert applications support and troubleshooting to help customers resolve technical challenges and maintain effective laboratory workflows.
Deliver customer training and education that improves user competency, laboratory performance, product utilization, and overall customer experience.
Work closely with Technical Service, Product Management, Global Business Units, and other internal teams to investigate and resolve complex applications issues and deliver timely customer solutions.
Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers, understanding their laboratory requirements and helping them optimize workflows and applications.
Identify customer needs and field trends, document applications issues appropriately, and communicate actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to strengthen products, workflows, customer support, and service delivery.
Support customer relationships across the assigned territory while balancing technical support, implementation activities, training, evaluations, and commercial priorities.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout installations, validations, troubleshooting activities, and ongoing customer engagements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Understanding of the Histology, Immunohistochemistry, Pathology, or related laboratory marketplace.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical applications issues, train customers, and support laboratory workflow optimization.
Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to laboratory professionals with varying levels of expertise.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-based environment while independently managing multiple customer priorities and technical assignments.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Service, Technical Support, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams.
HT/HTL certification preferred.
Previous experience with immunohistochemistry applications, workflows, and laboratory operations is a strong advantage.
Experience in Field Applications, Technical Support, Customer Training, or Laboratory Implementation is preferred.
Experience supporting laboratory automation, staining platforms, digital pathology solutions, or diagnostic instrumentation is an advantage.
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 70% within the assigned territory, covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

What We Offer

✓Fully remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from your home while supporting a defined field territory.

✓Annual base salary range of $85,000–$100,000.

✓Eligibility for Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC), with total target compensation at plan of approximately $100,000–$115,000 annually.

✓Actual incentive earnings may vary based on individual sales performance and may exceed or fall below the target amount.
