We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to lead strategic account ownership and strengthen customer relationships within a managed transportation environment. In this remote role, you will serve as the primary point of accountability for customer success, ensuring logistics solutions consistently deliver measurable value and meet performance expectations. You will develop account strategies, lead quarterly business reviews, and use operational and financial data to evaluate results and identify improvement opportunities. Working closely with operations and cross-functional teams, you will resolve service challenges, manage account risks, and support long-term customer retention. This position emphasizes strategic relationship management, transportation performance analysis, and continuous improvement rather than direct people management. It is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused logistics expert who can translate complex transportation data into actionable insights and sustainable business outcomes.

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned customer relationships, maintaining communication at least weekly to understand customer priorities, expectations, and overall account health.
  • Own account strategy, lead Quarterly Business Reviews, and develop long-term relationship plans that strengthen customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor operational performance, financial metrics, and key performance indicators using available technology to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Analyze transportation trends, identify potential risks, and proactively address customer retention and churn concerns in collaboration with the Managed Logistics team.
  • Oversee account-specific projects, measure return on investment (ROI), and clearly communicate the value delivered through logistics solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations to identify and resolve recurring service, billing, transportation, and delivery issues, ensuring satisfactory outcomes for customers.
  • Escalate critical customer concerns to leadership and coordinate follow-up actions through to resolution.
  • Collaborate across internal departments to maintain efficient account operations, strengthen service delivery, and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Analyze transportation data and performance trends to identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost efficiencies, and expanded account value.
  • Support account growth and long-term success by identifying evolving customer needs and recommending practical, data-driven logistics solutions.
