As Manager, Operations Strategy & Insights, you will drive strategic initiatives that improve business performance, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across a large network of dental practices. You will transform complex data into actionable insights, helping senior leaders make informed decisions and implement high-impact business strategies. Working across Operations, Finance, IT, HR, and field teams, you will lead projects from initial analysis and problem definition through implementation and performance measurement. Your work will focus on optimizing revenue opportunities, improving workforce productivity, strengthening forecasting capabilities, and standardizing operational processes. Operational Strategy and Execution: Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency, standardization, and business performance. Develop operational playbooks, manage pilot programs, and recommend whether initiatives should be scaled, adjusted, or discontinued based on measurable results.
Strategic Project Leadership: Own complex projects from problem identification and data analysis through recommendations, implementation, and impact assessment. Partner with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives, align resources, and deliver outcomes that support broader business objectives.
Practice Growth and Revenue Optimization: Analyze operational data and develop advanced models to identify revenue growth opportunities, including provider scheduling, treatment room utilization, operating hours, and other practice-level performance drivers.
Operational Bottleneck Identification: Identify constraints affecting productivity, revenue generation, and service delivery. Develop practical strategies to address performance gaps, improve resource allocation, and support scalable growth across the practice network.
Planning and Forecasting: Build and refine forecasting models to project revenue, labor demand, and operational performance at practice, regional, and national levels. Incorporate operational variables such as practice closures, provider absences, and vacation schedules to improve forecast accuracy.
Financial and Operational Alignment: Collaborate with Finance and Operations to align forecasts with business plans, evaluate growth and cost scenarios, and communicate the potential impact of strategic decisions to leadership.
Performance Analytics and Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and performance frameworks to monitor key indicators, including revenue, labor productivity, provider utilization, and scheduling compliance.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance trends, identify underlying causes of operational challenges, and translate findings into clear recommendations that support continuous improvement and stronger business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with field teams to ensure successful implementation of optimization initiatives, incorporate frontline feedback, and adapt solutions to operational realities. Partner with Operations, Finance, IT, and HR to coordinate priorities and drive consistent execution.
Stakeholder Influence and Accountability: Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, influence decisions across teams, and maintain accountability for project delivery without relying on direct reporting authority.
