OtherLitigation Attorney

This is an early-career attorney opportunity focused on representing employees in workplace-related disputes before litigation begins.
You will work closely with a lead pre-litigation attorney who will delegate matters, provide hands-on training, and progressively expand your responsibilities.
Your work will span case development, negotiation support, client communication, valuation, and demand strategy.
You will be expected to take ownership of assigned work, meet clear deadlines, and keep matters moving consistently.
The environment is highly process-driven, with weekly performance metrics and direct feedback designed to accelerate professional development.
As your skills and judgment develop, you will take on increasingly complex negotiations, matters, and strategic decisions.
The role is well suited to an attorney who is persuasive, organized, coachable, and motivated by achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.

  • Own delegated pre-litigation tasks from assignment through completion, delivering accurate, high-quality work by the dates committed to.

  • Support case valuation and negotiation through preparation of valuation memoranda, response letters, negotiation plans, and other case materials.

  • Participate in calls and negotiations as responsibilities expand, applying coaching and progressively exercising greater independent judgment.

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients on assigned matters, including providing updates within one business day and communicating difficult developments promptly by phone.

  • Help keep every assigned matter progressing each week by identifying delays, addressing recurring obstacles, and proposing practical solutions.

  • Raise case problems promptly with supporting evidence and a proposed course of action, then execute the agreed approach even when it differs from your initial recommendation.

  • Use established processes, metrics, and weekly Scorecard results to monitor turnaround, quality, rework, and other aspects of performance.

  • Take increasing ownership of matters, negotiations, and judgment calls as demonstrated performance and experience grow.

  • Maintain a client-focused approach while evaluating each matter based on its facts, applicable law, and potential resolution strategy.

  • Participate in the firm's recruiting and professional development processes, including assessments, interviews, drafting exercises, and reference conversations as applicable.
