Principal Product Manager, AI Platform

This is a high-impact product leadership role at the center of an organization-wide shift toward an AI-first operating model.
You will join a small, focused team responsible for rethinking core business operations through intelligent, internally owned technology.
The role combines product strategy, systems thinking, hands-on AI prototyping, and close collaboration with engineering teams.

• Identify critical operational challenges, define the underlying problems, and design AI-driven solutions that can be prototyped and validated against real-world data.
• Build working prototypes using AI tools and collaborate closely with engineering teams to transform successful concepts into reliable, scalable production systems.
• Define measurable metrics for complex operational problems and use data to validate solutions, assess outcomes, and continuously improve product decisions.
• Lead the development of a sophisticated decision engine designed to replace vendor reporting with an internally owned platform tailored to varied user requirements.
• Drive product strategy and judgment for closed-loop attribution systems that connect client actions with measurable revenue outcomes.
• Design platform capabilities that can support multiple business units and industries while balancing shared infrastructure with configurable experiences.
• Communicate product decisions, trade-offs, risks, and architectural implications clearly to senior product and technology leadership.
• Operate as a senior product decision-maker within a small, autonomous team, escalating high-stakes issues appropriately and maintaining ownership through execution.

• Proven experience identifying complex operational problems and designing AI-driven solutions rather than simply managing predefined product roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping working software prototypes or internal tools using AI coding tools.
• Deep understanding of modern AI capabilities and limitations, including the ability to design robust systems that account for failure modes, edge cases, and real-world constraints.
• Strong systems-thinking capabilities, with the ability to evaluate second-order effects, potential blast radius, dependencies, and long-term architectural implications.
• Experience designing platform products that serve diverse user needs across multiple industries, client types, or business units while balancing common components with configurable functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational challenges into measurable problems and validate proposed solutions using data.
• Experience with decision engines, reporting platforms, closed-loop attribution systems, or similar products is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex decisions and trade-offs clearly and concisely through short-form documentation.
• Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces and contributing effectively within a small, self-directed team.
• Experience in marketing services or multi-industry platform products is a plus.
