This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented logistics professional to support international freight pricing across air and ocean transportation.
You will play a key role in providing accurate, competitive quotes to clients, agents, and sales teams within established service timelines.
The role combines pricing analysis, carrier relationship management, customer service, and close collaboration with sales and operations.
You will maintain current freight rates, assess carrier pricing, and help ensure commercially competitive solutions for customers.
Your work will also involve monitoring industry and regulatory developments and communicating relevant updates to stakeholders.
The position offers exposure to a fast-paced international trade environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and collaboration are essential.
As a remote role open to Canadian candidates, it provides an opportunity to build specialized expertise in global forwarding while working with teams and partners across North America.

  • Prepare and deliver accurate freight quotes to clients, agents, and sales representatives within established service timelines.

  • Support freight operations and sales teams with rate requests, pricing analysis, and quotation-related needs.

  • Maintain accurate quote logs, pricing records, and reporting tools.

  • Maintain and update air and ocean freight carrier rates for the assigned branch or market.

  • Analyze carrier net rates to help identify competitive pricing and ensure favorable commercial outcomes.

  • Review and update client quotations in collaboration with Sales and Operations to ensure pricing remains accurate and current.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, agents, internal teams, and external business partners.

  • Keep customers informed about relevant industry developments, market changes, news, and regulatory updates through email and telephone communication.

  • Support the Sales team with quotation follow-up and related customer requests.

  • Communicate regularly with freight management and other internal stakeholders regarding pricing requirements and operational priorities.

  • Ensure all activities follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Take on additional related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, transportation pricing, or a related field.

  • Associate's degree or other post-secondary education.

  • Strong operational knowledge of international air and ocean transportation requirements, including carrier operations, agent networks, and dangerous goods regulations.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate freight rates, compare pricing options, and identify commercially advantageous solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders at different organizational levels.

  • Strong customer-service mindset and practical problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Sales, agents, and business partners across Canada and the United States.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a large volume of requests, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

  • Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, business judgment, and commitment to customer-first service.

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to contribute effectively within a diverse, cross-functional environment.
