We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution and Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions within the banking and financial services sector. In this senior role, you will leverage your expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), OmniStudio, and enterprise architecture to transform complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. You will drive architectural decisions, oversee integration strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Working closely with clients, stakeholders, developers, and technology teams, you will provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned architect who enjoys solving complex challenges, shaping digital transformation initiatives, and delivering impactful solutions in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Lead the end-to-end solution and technical architecture of enterprise Salesforce implementations for banking and financial services organizations.

Design and optimize solutions using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, leveraging its data model and capabilities to address complex financial-services use cases.

Architect and implement OmniStudio solutions, including OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, and DataRaptors.

Define robust integration architectures connecting Salesforce with core banking platforms, enterprise applications, and external financial-services systems.

Design and oversee technical solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.

Translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and technically sound Salesforce architectures.

Develop solutions supporting KYC/AML compliance, customer onboarding, loan origination, financial accounts, and other banking workflows.

Review technical designs, data models, integration strategies, and implementation plans to ensure architectural consistency and quality.

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Salesforce developers and implementation teams, supporting effective architectural decision-making.

Lead architecture discussions, solution walkthroughs, technical reviews, and stakeholder presentations to ensure alignment across business and technology teams.

Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, performance bottlenecks, scalability concerns, and integration challenges.

Ensure adherence to Salesforce security standards, development best practices, integration principles, and performance optimization guidelines.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, architects, and technology partners to drive successful implementation outcomes.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues, support critical design decisions, and contribute to their timely resolution.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution specifications, design decisions, and implementation standards.

Requirements

Experience: 15+ years of experience in Salesforce, enterprise application architecture, solution architecture, or related technology roles.

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud: Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce FSC, including its data model, architecture, capabilities, and financial-services applications.

OmniStudio expertise: Extensive practical experience with OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, and DataRaptors.

Solution and technical architecture: Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce architectures and complex technology transformation programs.

Development skills: Strong hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.

Integration architecture: Demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce with core banking platforms, enterprise systems, and external applications.

Banking and financial services knowledge: Strong understanding of banking processes, financial-services workflows, and domain-specific business requirements.

Regulatory and operational workflows: Practical knowledge of KYC/AML, customer onboarding, loan origination, financial accounts, and related banking processes.

Client-facing expertise: Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead architecture discussions and explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Business and technical alignment: Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable, secure, and maintainable architectural solutions.

Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities, with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges.

Technical leadership: Experience mentoring development teams, reviewing technical implementations, establishing best practices, and driving architectural decisions.

Collaboration: Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with geographically distributed teams.

Availability: Immediate or short-notice availability for a contract engagement is an advantage.
