This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced SAP data migration professional supporting major S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
You’ll design and execute migration strategies across greenfield and conversion programs, helping ensure critical enterprise data moves accurately and securely.
The role spans extraction, transformation, cleansing, replication, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities across complex SAP landscapes.
You’ll work closely with functional teams and technical stakeholders to align master and transactional data with business requirements.
The position provides hands-on exposure to SAP LTMC, SLT, LVM, S/4HANA, SQL, and large-volume data migration processes.
You’ll also contribute to migration performance optimization, governance, documentation, mock migrations, and final deployment readiness.
It’s an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact migration programs while helping establish reliable, auditable, and supportable SAP environments.

Design and execute SAP data migration strategies for S/4HANA implementations, including greenfield and conversion scenarios.
Extract data from legacy systems using SAP-provided and custom tools and prepare it for ingestion into SAP environments.
Configure and utilize SAP LTMC, including custom migration objects when required.
Implement SAP SLT real-time replication scenarios, including transformation rules and filtering conditions.
Manage logical system configurations and replication setups for hybrid SAP landscapes.
Support system refreshes and landscape virtualization activities using SAP LVM.
Design and execute data transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and preparation processes before migration.
Develop validation and reconciliation reports to verify data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Identify and resolve duplicates, inconsistencies, orphan records, and other data-quality issues ahead of go-live.
Coordinate mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and final cutover activities, including runbook execution and rollback planning.
Optimize high-volume data loads through parallelization, package sizing, database tuning, and other performance techniques.
Partner with functional teams to validate master and transactional data against business requirements and expectations.
Ensure migration activities comply with enterprise data governance, audit, privacy, and security standards.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Contribute to a supportable and auditable migration environment that enables effective knowledge transfer and long-term operational continuity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
12+ years of professional experience in SAP data migration.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP LTMC and S/4HANA migration tools.
Proven experience with SAP SLT replication scenarios, including transformation and filtering configurations.
Working knowledge of SAP LVM for system refreshes and landscape management.
Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data structures.
Experience designing and executing data validation and reconciliation processes.
Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
Experience working in complex enterprise SAP landscapes and major implementation programs.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Experience with S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations is preferred.
Exposure to SAP Data Services or other ETL platforms is advantageous.
Experience with high-volume, multi-source data migrations is a plus.
Working knowledge of SAP HANA database structures is preferred.
SAP S/4HANA certification is an advantage.
Ability to collaborate effectively with functional, technical, and business stakeholders throughout migration programs.
