This is a senior SAP integration support role focused on maintaining stability and availability across complex enterprise integration landscapes.
You’ll take ownership of critical production incidents across SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI on SAP BTP, helping restore business-critical interfaces quickly.
The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with root-cause analysis, permanent fixes, monitoring, and continuous service improvement.
You’ll work across hybrid environments connecting SAP ECC/S/4HANA, cloud platforms, and non-SAP systems.
Close collaboration with functional, technical, infrastructure, and external partner teams will be essential to resolving complex integration issues.

You’ll also contribute to robust documentation, knowledge sharing, and production support practices while working independently during high-priority incidents.
- Provide end-to-end AMS support for SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI integrations running on SAP BTP.
- Own and resolve Priority 1 and Priority 2 production incidents, restoring business-critical interfaces within agreed service levels.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SAP PI/PO environments, including both ABAP and Java components, as well as SAP CPI on BTP.
- Analyze errors using PI/PO monitoring tools and CPI Message Processing Logs to identify and resolve integration failures.
- Troubleshoot interfaces involving IDoc, RFC, Proxy, File, SOAP, REST, and OData technologies.
- Work with integration adapters including IDoc, SFTP, HTTP, SOAP, JDBC, and REST.
- Debug mappings, payloads, adapters, iFlows, certificates, and security-related artifacts.
- Support hybrid integration landscapes connecting ECC/S/4HANA, cloud platforms, and non-SAP applications.
- Conduct detailed root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurring incidents.
- Coordinate with SAP Functional, Basis, Network, and external vendor teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure SLA adherence, high-quality ticket management, accurate updates, and audit-ready technical documentation.
- Participate in on-call or shift-based production support as required.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and continuous improvement of integration support processes.
Requirements
~1 min read- 6–8 years of experience in SAP PI/PO application support, preferably in enterprise AMS or managed-services environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP CPI on SAP BTP in production environments.
- Strong monitoring and debugging capabilities, including analysis of integration payloads, adapters, mappings, and message-processing errors.
- Solid understanding of ESR, Integration Directory, and CPI iFlows.
- Practical experience with SAP integration technologies including IDoc, RFC, Proxy, File, SOAP, REST, and OData.
- Experience working with adapters such as SFTP, HTTP, SOAP, JDBC, REST, and IDoc.
- Strong understanding of hybrid SAP integration landscapes involving ECC/S/4HANA, cloud, and non-SAP systems.
- Experience using ITSM/AMS platforms such as ServiceNow, Target Process, Remedy, or Jira.
- Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement sustainable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and manage business-critical production outages under pressure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, particularly when coordinating across functional, technical, infrastructure, and external teams.
- Ability to prioritize incidents effectively, work within defined SLAs, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Comfortable working in a production support environment that may include on-call or shift responsibilities.
