This is a remote opportunity for an experienced business applications professional supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of electronic health record (EHR) and eMAR solutions.
You will play a key role in improving clinical and operational workflows while ensuring technology solutions align with broader business objectives.
The position combines application support, workflow design, project coordination, training, quality assurance, and stakeholder management.
You will collaborate closely with operational teams, technical specialists, and senior leadership to resolve challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
The role is suited to someone who thrives in a high-demand, performance-driven environment and enjoys solving complex healthcare technology challenges.
You will also help establish best practices, strengthen compliance, and continuously improve the user experience and effectiveness of EHR systems.
Travel of up to 50%, including occasional overnight travel, is expected.

  • Support the implementation, administration, and ongoing optimization of EHR and eMAR applications, ensuring solutions meet operational and strategic business needs.

  • Develop and optimize workflows related to electronic health records, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, usability, and consistency.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate across functions to achieve business and operational objectives.

  • Provide ongoing application support, troubleshoot issues, and work with internal support teams to resolve complex challenges efficiently.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs across multiple formats, helping users adopt systems and follow established best practices.

  • Conduct routine audits to ensure appropriate user provisioning, segregation of duties, and compliance with applicable audit requirements.

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices for solution delivery.

  • Manage multiple workstreams and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and impediments, coordinating appropriate mitigation and resolution.

  • Prepare clear, detailed status updates and communications for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure application solutions remain scalable, reliable, and aligned with evolving business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related discipline.

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, ideally within healthcare technology or business applications.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Yardi EHR, eMAR, and related modules is strongly preferred.

  • Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, clinical workflows, and EHR best practices.

  • Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and medical terminology; medical billing experience is an asset.

  • Strong understanding of project management and Agile practices, with the ability to coach and support others in these methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage portfolios of work, prioritize competing demands, and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict-management, documentation, and reporting skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.

  • Agile, Six Sigma, or PMP certification is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment with a high degree of independence.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% outside the local area, including overnight travel.

  • Successful completion of required background, drug, employment, education, and credential verification checks.
