Senior Content Analyst

This role is a subject-matter expert responsible for the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of governed payer and provider intelligence assets.
You will transform inconsistent payer, plan, HCP, and provider records into reliable, governed entities through detailed mapping and research.
The position combines healthcare market-access expertise with strong analytical and data-management capabilities.
You will work across Product, Engineering, Content, Delivery, and Client Success teams to resolve exceptions and maintain high data-quality standards.
The role also contributes to data governance, metadata management, process improvement, and AI/ML-assisted mapping with appropriate human oversight.
Success requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable outcomes.
You will operate in a global environment where continuous improvement, collaboration, and data integrity are central to the work.
- Payer and provider mapping: Map payer/plan and HCP/provider records into governed hierarchies by reconciling inconsistent names, identifiers, relationships, and structures from multiple sources into standardized entities.
- Content research and validation: Conduct online and source-based research to validate and enrich records, including plan types, parent organizations, controllers, PBM relationships, and provider affiliations.
- Quality control and exception management: Assign confidence ratings, document mapping rationale, prepare outputs for senior validation, review junior-analyst mappings, and resolve complex exceptions.
- Data quality management: Validate, cleanse, profile, and enrich data while identifying quality issues, analyzing root causes, and recommending practical solutions.
- Data governance: Help define data quality standards and maintain data dictionaries, lineage, metadata, governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Data integrity and reporting: Monitor data integrity across systems and applications and develop or maintain data-quality dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
- Cross-functional operations: Partner with Operations and adjacent teams to integrate data management and mapping processes into development and delivery workflows.
- Knowledge sharing: Train end users on data management and mapping best practices while mentoring peers and transferring knowledge across the team.
- Compliance and stakeholder collaboration: Support data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, participate in governance initiatives, and collaborate with data stewards and global stakeholders.
- Product improvement: Gather feedback from internal users and external clients, translate their needs into actionable insights, and contribute to meaningful improvements in data products and processes.
Requirements
~2 min read- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Relevant experience: 3–5 years of experience in payer analytics, formulary or claims data management, content mapping, data governance, or a related discipline.
- Healthcare data expertise: Strong understanding of formulary data, patient claims data, and data-management concepts including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance.
- Mapping and technical skills: Familiarity with payer and HCP/provider mapping, content research, SQL, data modeling, and database management systems.
- Data management: Experience with master data management, data profiling, and analytical tools, with a combined 2+ years of experience working with United States healthcare data.
- Analytics and reporting: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and data-quality monitoring.
- Compliance knowledge: Understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Preferred technical exposure: Experience with Reltio, Informatica, or other master data management platforms is valued, as is familiarity with Snowflake.
- Analytical judgment: Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to understand payer/provider structures and the rules governing complex hierarchies.
- Operational mindset: Ability to translate broad assignments into documented, actionable steps while actively identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Communication and collaboration: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data and mapping concepts clearly to diverse audiences and work effectively across teams and cultures.
- Leadership and judgment: Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, provide constructive feedback, manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Work authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.
